Roundabout was founded in 1985 by Lynn Cedar and Deborah Haythorne, who are the charity's Project Directors.
Roundabout's Patrons is Ms Marilyn Hill-Smith.
Roundabout has a Management Committee of 8 Trustees: Alison Kelly (Chair), Ronald Marsh (Honorary Treasurer), Rodger Winn (Honorary Secretary), Yvonne Wynter, Lindsay Dutton, Mark Stanley, Paul Girbow, Bronwen Lord and Helen Toumazos.  The Project Directors are responsible to the trustees.

Roundabout's Head Office is in Croydon, from which the Project Directors co-ordinate the work of Roundabout, with the support of the administrator, Rebecca Lacey . We have a second office in Islington, where Susan Jones co-ordinates our work in North London.  She is also a member of the senior management team as is our lead Dramatherapist Tim Townsend. We have a further four employed Dramatherapists, Jessie Ellinor, Steph Smith, Pam Marshall and Jeni Treves.We currently work with a further 7 freelance Dramatherapists. All the Roundabout Dramatherpaist, employed and freelance, are registered with the Health Professions Council and are cleared with the Criminal Records Bureau.

Roundabout is committed to the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of its projects.  We have recently carried out a feasibility study on a new user evaluation system called Psychlops.  The charity's work is innovative and constantly evolving. It is also the largest and most effective Dramatherapy charity in the UK.
