Bahman’s round trip: Lands End to John O’Groats

Congratulations and Thank You to Bahman, 91-years-old, who has completed the mammoth challenge of cycling the equivalent of Land’s End to John O’Groats and back again to raise money for Roundabout. (21st May 2021). We hope you enjoy this video of the the final day of his challenge, you can view his video here

He started his challenge way back on the 8th March 2020 and since then he has been cycling on average 5km each day, typically before 9.00am! You can watch his video here. Since January 1st 2021 Bahman increased his daily cycle to 6km and even added an extra 1km each afternoon, when he was up to it. #Bahman91

How your donations are already helping
The money donated so far (March 2021) means Roundabout dramatherapists can continue to support older adults in 2 care homes, Rowena House in Beckenham and The Heathers in Shortlands, Bromley, where the funding had run out. The project can now continue for at least 10 more weeks. To find out more about Roundabout’s work with older adults see here and here
