Deborah Haythorne

MA, BA(Hons), BADth member. Co-Founder and Co-Project Director of Roundabout, founded in 1985.

I trained as a dramatherapist with the Sesame/Royal Central School of Speech and Drama course (graduated 1984) and completed my top up research MA at Roehampton University (1996).

I am Co-CEO of Roundabout. I have extensive dramatherapy experience with many different service user groups. I currently work with children in schools, and maintain my interest in dramatherapy practice with adults with a learning disability and with adults with a dual diagnosis of learning disability and mental health issues. I have contributed to a number of publications and most recently co-edited ‘Dramatherapy and Autism’ published by Routledge 2016. I have a special interest in dramatherapy practice with people on the autistic spectrum.

I am a supervisor for dramatherapy training courses and teach on the Creative Arts Supervision Training, as well as having a private supervision practice.
